The Coastal area of Ernakulum District lies on the Western part of Kochi. In view of the above facts, Kochi is an ideal place for accommodating the Headquarters of Coastal Police. For the construction of a Coastal Police Headquarters with well equipped Infrastructure facilities, a proposal with an approximate amount of Rs. 300,00,000/- (Rupees Three Crores Only) is sent to Government for including the same in Coastal Security Scheme, Phase III .
